I have two quick things for you today:
1) As of this writing Governor Hogan has done nothing with House Bill 1302, the “Red Flag” Gun Seizure bill we’ve been telling you about.
Please call Governor Hogan today at 410-974-3901 and tell him to VETO HB-1302.
2) This Saturday, gun owners and Second Amendment activists from across Maryland will be gathering at Lawyer’s Mall in Annapolis to demand that Governor Hogan VETO HB-1302 and stand up for our gun rights.
The rally starts at 2:00p.m.
Please attend if you can.
The weather is supposed to be great on Saturday and what better reason to go down to Annapolis than to stand up for our gun rights while we still have a chance to kill this bill!
Also, please see below the final vote on House Bill 1302, the amended version. You will notice that a lot more Republicans voted against the bill this time around.
That is all because of the work that gun owners did across Maryland to hold so-called “pro-2nd Amendment” legislators accountable.
For the 2nd Amendment,
Maryland Gun Owners
P.S. Regardless of what Governor Hogan does around House Bill 1302, one thing is clear: it’s pay back time in Maryland.
Maryland Gun Owners is ready and raring to go to hold politicians accountable for:
*** Sponsoring terrible anti-2nd Amendment bills
*** Voting wrong in committee
*** Voting wrong on amendments
*** Voting wrong on the chamber floor
We don’t care what party they are in, whether or not they are “hunters” or what their NRA rating is — if they voted against our God-given rights, they deserve to be held accountable for it.
In the coming months between now and next year’s General Assembly, we are going to need your help more than ever to send a message to legislators that we will not accept their constant abuse of our God-given rights.
